Quality Assurance Executive
(Johor - Pasir Gudang, Johor)

Responsibilities:

• To assist in upgrading existing quality assurance
• To conduct supplier audit and update the material's documents for food safety and certificates regularly
• To ensure all documents and information needed such as QA clearance and incoming inspection records for all material were established and relevent person in-charge were trained.
• To ensure operations are conducted in a manner that is environmentally sustainable, energy saving and in compliance with ISO 14001
• To establish control systems, documentation, implementation, training and data analysis of EMS
• To assist in Quality and Food Management Systems, Application of ISO 9001 : 2008, MOH-HACCP, ISO 14001, HALAL and Kosher certification for new factory/company
• To review and revise the validation and verification of existing HACCP systems
• To follow up with SHE Executive on pest control activites
• Carry out additional responsibilities assigned by superior from time to time
• Self improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science discipline, preferably in Food Sciences, Food Technology, Microbiology or Chemistry
• Minimum 1 year work experience in food industry
• Familiar with assuring quality in process
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
• May require to undergo cross-exposure training in Europe
• Exposure to SAP would be an added advantage
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, Words & Powerpoint.
• Good command over written and spoken English
• Good communication & interpersonal skills
• Analytical thinking & problem solving skills
• Initiative and able to work independently
• Hardworking & with excellent teamwork
