Responsibilities:

• Sourcing, negotiating and preparing price comparison for all material requisition prior selection of suppliers based on price and availability of stock.
• Timely compilation of all supporting documents and issuance of Purchase Order for all the required material.
• Maintaining good long-term relationship with all suppliers to obtain priority delivery, continuous supply of critical materials, prompt services and competitive prices.
• Perform market trend analysis and keep up-to-date information on market condition to avoid material shortage or rise in material prices (i.e. steel based material, copper based material etc), to ensure availability of material at competitive prices.
• Maintain inventory system to ensure all outgoing stocks are captured accurately and stock level is monitored.
• Assist in arrangement of goods at warehouse and store.
• Assist in stock take.
• Ensuring all materials from abroad are delivered in time.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration/ Purchasing/ Logistic & Transportation or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in supply chain, purchasing, materials or inventory management.
• Proven ability to handle logistics / supply chain functions, tactfully and effectively.
• Good communication skills & Proven ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to converse in Chinese dialects would be an added advantage
• Demonstrate ability to communicate and interact well with people from diverse culture and levels.
