COPYWRITER (WEB)
(Kuala Lumpur - Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:

• We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented writer who can produce copy on various different events and attractions around Kuala Lumpur at short notice.



• Knowledge of KL is a huge benefit but the most important factor is the willingness to contribute to TIME OUT KUALA LUMPUR - the biggest new magazine in Malaysia - and to write for a living.



• You must have a sound grasp of English and appreciate the grammatical structure of phrases and tonation required for short soundbites as well as longer, informative features.



• This role will initially be based on generating and maintaining content for the huge www.timeoutkl.com website (NB: candidates should make themselves intimately acquainted with this site), however, there is a massive potential for development at Mongoose Asia and it is probable that the successful applicant will be writing a major part of Time Out KL magazine content, then onto features and other articles for our ever-growing stable of publications.



• Recruitment will be fiercely contested though, so make your application stand out and impress us.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.
• Required language(s): English.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Kuala Lumpur.
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Publishing/Printing or equivalent.
• Full-Time positions available.
