Asia Media Monitors is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and is a media tracking and monitoring service company which advises corporations, public relations, international and other organisations on maximising their communications and media efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Create Boolean search conditions to accurately capture relevant articles from databases populated with press, internet and broadcast content.
• Work from a centralised work queue.
• Complete work to deadline.
• Think laterally to provide solutions to complex information requests from clients.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Malaysian and South East Asian news and current affairs.
• Demonstrated ability to extract relevant data from search engines or other databases.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Excellent PC skills and strong capabilities to adapt to new software programs.
• Ability to work to deadlines in a dynamic, constantly changing environment.
• Capability of working unsupervised for periods of time - time management skills.
• Responsible approach to quality – ability to accept constructive criticism and act upon it.
