Responsibilities:

• Using data from various operating systems set up BOM structures and part detail to enable full product material costing to get underway.
• Identify and prepare base costs for given products and analyse monthly fluctuations and go after negative cost variances. Liaise with Purchasing and Category Managers and coordinate actions to introduce cost changes within a given product set. Obtain planned information on future negotiated, RSI (rapid sourcing initiative) and EDCR (event driven cost reduction) plans and interpret timing and forecasted costs. Project quarterly product cost reduction after interpreting changes in production schedules and the effects of any inventory pipelines. Share product cost plans within Sourcing, ISC Finance and Product Management.
• Identify specific action plans for any necessary corrective action and provide management status reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Supply Management, Program Management or equivalent with minimum of 5 yrs of relative experience in Supply Chain organization or Network System Engineering
• Supplier relationship experience
• Good communication skills. Ability to organize, plan, communicate and interface effectively with all levels.
• Familiarity of N&E equipment.
• A working understanding of planning systems and material cost with good analytical skills.
• Required language(s): English.
