ENGINEER / SENIOR ENGINEER – DESIGN SUPPORT (TECHNOLOGY)

JOB SUMMARY

• To perform project under superior’s guidance.
  
• Technical assistant for developing design kits (PDK, rule decks, technology files, LIB/IP).

1. Technical assistant for supporting customers for use of IP/Lib, PDK, and technology files.
   
2. Assist to setup QA criteria and flow to ensure a high standard and robustness for design kits.
   
3. Working closely with 3rd party IP and Library vendors to define the scope of work, specification and ensure the development of IP/LIB is on schedule.
   
4. Working closely with Process Development or Characterization to ensure error-free Spice models, Design rules and Process specification.
   
5. Perform project to ensure successful completion of projects.
   
6. To contribute towards the achievement of quality objectives by complying to the quality operating system and participating in continuous improvement activities (defect prevention, reduction of variation or prevention of waste).

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering, with knowledge of VLSI IC design and application.
  
• Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of working experiences in IC design, wafer foundry or semiconductor area.
  
• Basic knowledge of sub-micron design in digital, memory and mixed signal custom layout.
  
• Basic knowledge of industrial requirement in EDA tools, IP, Library and commercial market.
  
• Basic knowledge of ASIC design flow, design validation, verification flow and semiconductor process.
  
• Experience with UNIX operating system and PC applications.
