Internal Audit Manager
(Kedah - Sungai Petani)

 

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the Internal Audit function fulfils its objectives and effectively assists the Management.
  • To appraise the efficiency and effectiveness of operational processes and controls.
  • To develop audit frameworks, control tools and processes.
  • To promote risk management and corporate governance.
  • To liase with external auditors.
  • To conduct audit in accordance to professional standards.
  • To prepare audit reports, findings and comments.
  • This position will be reporting to the Audit Committee.

Requirements:

  • Degree in the field of Accountancy/Finance/preferred qualification.
  • At least 5 years audit or related working experience, preferably in a public-listed company or an audit firm.
  • Possess hands-on audit skills across applications and infrastructure with good process and business orientation.
  • Demonstrates operation audit accomplishments, excellent communication skills, strong understanding of business processes, risks and key controls and a passion for working with the business to improve the control environment
  • Willing to travel substantially to all operating sites, locally and occasionally internationally.
