Accountant
(Selangor - Klang)

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of accounting staff in performing monthly financial closing activities, preparing management reports and statutory financial reports
• Possess good knowledge of the current financial accounting standards and financial reporting guidelines.
• Implement and enforce internal controls and procedures, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents on statutory audit and tax matters
• Cover overall management of financial and accounting functions which include preparation of cost analysis, business plans and any ad hoc projects
• Ability to be flexible in a variety of circumstances and work well under tight deadlines.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting / Finance or professional qualifications such as CA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion
• Possess strong organizational skills, analytical and communication skills
• Self-motivated and a team player with good interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical skills and business acumen
• Priority will be given to those who works in Public Listed Company before
