Accountant
(Sarawak - Kuching)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review accuracy and ensure timely monthly accounts and analyse financial performance;
• Assist in preparation of annual accounts for audit and coordinate with auditors;
• On-going liaison with auditors, tax agents, solicitors, bankers, Company Secretary and related professionals on financial system identification and implementation;
• Assist in managing and supervising a team of staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or recognized Professional Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalents;
• Preferably a member of ACCA/CIMA/MIA;
• At least 3 years of working experience in audit firm would be an added advantage;
• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, taxation and other regulatory financial reporting requirements;
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia;
• Good analytical, leadership, communication and organisational skills and to establish effective and good working relationship with all levels.
