Responsibilities:

• To review and update the Preferred Supplier List
• Ensure all contract documents are created and uploaded into global contract tool
• To Review and approve Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders
• To provide reporting and metrics to assess SCM Operations performance
• Operate consistently, as a member of the Asia Pacific Team in accordance with Global Supply Chain Processes and Policy
• Manage Vendor Maintenance Approval
• Resolve payment issues with supplier when escalated by Finance and/or requestors.

• This role requires candidates with a combination of contractual and commercial skills. It requires an individual with the following knowledge and experience:-
• At least 3 years Procurement working experience
• Degree in any discipline
• Relevant purchasing and/or procurement qualifications
• Proven ability to influence remote teams/stakeholders of professionals; vendors; clients to achieve cost effective and timely solutions.
• Good knowledge of Supply Chain Management in an IT/Non-IT environment, including ability to establish supplier pipelines, manages business risk, liabilities and constraints.
• Good experience in sourcing, vendor/supplier selection and management.
• Demonstrated expertise in provision of high quality customer service in a leveraged environment incorporating an understanding of quality customer service needs.
• Good communication (written and spoken)
• Must meet and maintain security clearance requirements of EDS and relevant client(s).
