CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
(Kuala Lumpur - Bukit Damansara)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a Division’s business plan and analyze the system development of the company/users in relation to accomplish our mission in both strategic and operational business objectives.
• Recommend improvement and solutions to meet the user(s) requirements and to enhance the company’s customer service standard.
• Establishes a process to effectively and efficiently manage the systems, applications and software maintenance, integration and developments in the company. Reviews and monitors for effectiveness.
• Plan the implementation of a 3-year technology work-plan and ensure on going information technology projects are completed on time, within budget and fit for purpose.
• Establishes and implements a process to effectively develop and prepare documentation on procedural, programs and users’ documentation. Conducts periodic review to update the documentation.
• Establishes a process to effective and efficiently source for and manage all outsourced activities and ensure value-for-money service delivery.
• Establish and implement policies, review and evaluate the productivity performance of the Division, systems utilization and capacity. Work with users and ensure successful of system implementation.
• Develops and implements operational policies, controls and guidelines necessary to ensure effectiveness and smooth running of system development activities. Reviews and monitors for effectiveness.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships and communication process with the top management team, managers and staff.
• Establishes and implements a process to review, monitor and report the performance and productivity of the Division.
• Establishes a management reporting process to timely report the Division’s performance and productivity to the Board of Directors / Executive Directors.
• Conducts continuing study to review and improve the unit’s policies, programs, practices, processes, and systems and to keep the top management informed of new developments. (i.e conducts technical support and training to employees on new software upgrading).

Requirements:

• A recognized professional qualification or equivalent master degree/degree in Information System and Technology.
• At least 1 year experience in senior management position in related IT industry.
• Strong knowledge and experience in managing IT application(s).
• Programming experience is a must.
• Good writing and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Salary package from RM11,000-00 to RM13,000-00.
