Services Business Manager
(Singapore)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the data collection, budget development, tracking and reporting of the financial aspects for Lenovo’s warranty cost management.
- Manage monthly and quarterly Capital and Expense cycles: gathering requests from teams within Services business unit, tracking actuals, working with Finance
- Assist with keeping International Warranty Service data up-to-date with new product announcements
- Manage ad hoc financial reconciliations and operational projects as needs arise, such as product recalls
- Look for opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce cost for Lenovo through financial data analysis.
- Ensure compliance with Lenovo business controls
- Build relationships with team mates and other Lenovo internals, and look for opportunities to assist others, to build a strong Lenovo culture based on collaboration and innovation
Requirements:
- Degree qualification, preferably in Finance or Business, and/or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in financial field
- Highly advanced user of MS Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint & Visio
- Experience with M/Soft Outlook and/or Lotus Notes
- MySAP CRM, Campaign Management and/or Order Management desirable.
- Understanding of financial concepts
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects
- Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and accurate in all work
- Strong spreadsheet / database skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial information to a non-financial audience.
- Assertiveness while being diplomatic in working with other Lenovo internals
- Ability to work independently and with a team; multi-task and work within tight timelines
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to work with people at all levels
